AFTER GENESIS 2 | Latest Nigerian Movies 2026 | A Film By Ola Adene

After everything she has endured, a divorced single mother finally finds the hope and courage to open her heart to love again. But when the doctrines of the church collide with her desire for a new beginning, she finds herself caught between faith, love, and the possibility of a second chance.

In AFTER GENESIS 2, a powerful Christian drama and romance, Amarachi’s journey becomes even more complicated when her ex-husband, Manasseh, unexpectedly seeks reconciliation just as her relationship with Osayi, the man she has come to love, begins to fall apart.

As questions about divorce, remarriage, forgiveness, grace, and religious expectations challenge everything she has come to believe, Amarachi must navigate the difficult space between doctrine and conviction, love and loyalty, and what others believe is right for her versus what she believes God is asking of her.

Written and directed by Ola “TheRAWPoet” Adene, AFTER GENESIS 2 is an emotional journey of faith, love, forgiveness, and self-discovery that explores the complicated realities of starting over after heartbreak.

Featuring a powerful cast including Ese Divine Efosa, Samuel “Spiritman” Afemikhe, Tehillah Osamwonyi, Paul Word Uma, Praise Isaac, Bodunde Olowu, and Toyin Deborah Ojo, among others, this thought-provoking sequel invites audiences to wrestle with difficult questions about love, marriage, faith, forgiveness, and second chances.
